First off, thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about the writer behind the posts. I know the odds of stumbling across the tiny microscopic portion of the internet are not likely, so here you are, you rare gem!

I’m Cass, a twenty-something microbiologist and clinical research coordinator, a wife, & a mama to my almost two-year-old son, Griffin. I am a Texas Tech University graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a minor in Health Professions.

I have a renewed love for life after surviving brain surgery in December 2015 to correct the flow of my cerebral spinal fluid. I have Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome and Chiari Malformation. This is my space to share all my struggles, triumphs, and setbacks.

I originally started this blog to help with my anxiety and fears about being sick; I needed a platform to express my concerns and have the ability to reach out to others, so I started this lovely blog. My blog now has expanded into an extensive ever-going about me portfolio: fashion and style bits, my undying love for dogs, and the trivial everyday life. I love traveling with husband and best friend, Caleb and our son Griff. We’re basically the three musketeers.

MUST LOVE PUGS- you saw the title and proceeded so I’m assuming you’re here to admire my fur children. My best friend, Mavis, a rambunctious pug puppy who came into my life in March of 2016.  I have had an unhealthy obsession with pugs, hence the name of my blog, since I was about six and have been gifted many different pug themed items over the years. My mom even got me an “I love my pug” sun catcher when I was thirteen despite not having a pug (oh moms). Mavis, or Mae Mae, came home on March 6, 2016 and has been by my side ever since. We’re inseparable. She currently is serving as my emotional support animals and is my little biff. Eleven or “Levie” for short joined our small family in February of 2017 and is Mavis’s annoying little sister and playmate.
